The theater facility was named the Count de Hoernle Theatre when the Count’s widow Henrietta, Countess de Hoernle, gave a gift of $1,000,000.  A $483,500 cultural facilities grant was awarded by the State of Florida, Division of Cultural Affairs, and a $750,000 facilities grant was awarded by the Palm Beach County 2002 Recreational and Cultural Bond.

Caldwell and Owner/Developer Newman Realty Group as represented by Ric Newman signed a contract to incorporate the theater building into the developer’s mixed-use project on North Federal Highway.  The contract guarantees ample, free, dedicated ground-level parking for Caldwell patrons.
