The poetry and lyricism of Ernest Hemingway brought to life in a new stage adaptation. You will ride in the boat with The Old Man, emotionally engaged in his epic struggle with the fish. See first hand the poignant relationship between The Old Man and the boy. Magically the story is underscored with expressive guitar stylings and songs from 1950’s Cuba. The Old Man and the Sea embodies everything expected from great theater, insightful storytelling, passionate performances, and healing thematic experiences.

A resident of Huntington, Long Island, she has toured her repertoire of world folktales for thirty years to theatres, festivals, and conferences throughout the U.S. and abroad. As an award-winning recording artist, Ms. Forest has over a dozen albums and books to her credit. She has performed at the Smithsonian Institution, the National Storytelling Festival, the Museum of Modern Art, and in Scotland, Austria and New Zealand.
